The Centre for Abuse, Trauma and Suicide studies (CATS) Middlesex University, is an inter-disciplinary research centre. We undertake rigorous, ethical, community-relevant research on topics related to abuse and trauma, fit for the 21st century. Much of our work is digitally and internet informed – whether related to harms online or using innovative online methods for assessment. We also attend closely to the human aspect, whether with those involved in abuse, or professionals who work with them and ensure our research informs policy for maximum impact.
